Acts 1:7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me[a] in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”使徒行传 1：7 耶稣回答说：“天父照祂的权柄定下的时间、日期不是你们可以知道的。 8 但圣灵降临在你们身上后，你们必得到能力，在耶路撒冷、犹太全境和撒马利亚，直到地极，做我的见证人。”

8:22 Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. 22 你要悔改，离弃邪恶，向主祷告，或许主会赦免你心中的邪念。

10:15 And a voice spoke to him again the second time, “What God has cleansed you must not call common.”5 那声音又一次对他说：“上帝已经洁净的，你不可再称之为不洁净。”

Here is something funny to share. See my selfies with different makeup style? (I did not realize that they are so tiny when I made the collages…)How powerful! I don’t need to do makeup anymore, and my cell phone can fix it up for me. Just need to make sure I wash my face before I go out.

The point I want to state here is that we can’t really know God if we don’t know Him through Jesus; like you don’t see the real me if you are not standing in front of me. If you don’t spend time with me, you won’t know my personality. If you don’t spend time reading the Bible, you won’t recognize His voice. There are so many different stories in the old testament portray the Yehovah that beyond our understanding. But when Jesus came, everything fell into places.

I am going to sing you a song at the end of this post. Psalms are just too magnificant. Every word speaks out my heart. I just want to sing my praise to the Lord, and I welcome you to do the same, with me. We put our eyes on Jesus, for what He did on the cross, we can be who we are now.

Just had an unpleasant conversation with my mum. Because of some reasons, I could not take her advice in a peaceful way. I know she loves me, and I know she is advising for my best. I am grateful for having her as my mum. I am a little person that I am not even brave enough to tell her how much I cherish her, her love, and her sacrifice for me. So I think proverbs six says what I should put in my heart, that is: “My son, keep your father’s command, And do not forsake the law of your mother.

Proverbs 6 自救的方式便是：要谦卑地向他求情。懒惰的人将会贫穷和缺乏。心术不正以及无赖撒谎是耶和华所憎恶的。“孩子啊，要遵守你父亲的诫命，不可背弃你母亲的训言。”

File May 30, 7 27 11 PMBusy April. Traveling, and escaping. Now, May has almost gone, and I finally have time to sit down, write about Acts.
I felt ashamed.
Knowing there is nothing to be ashamed of, I still feel like I should be ashamed of that I did not finish reading my Bible plan on time. That is what the enemy was trying to get to me.

Luke, the author of Gospel of Luke, may be the author of Acts. “ACTS 1:1 The former account I made…” These two books combine into a joint work, with the first part describing the life of Jesus and salvation through His resurrection, and the second part telling how His disciples followed Jesus, especially the life of Apostel Peter and Apostel Paul. Acts demonstrated an excellent model of how a Christian can live out his or her life.

这周，关于财富的话题源源不断地扑面而来。在团契里就在讨论雅各在财富上得到的恩典，他和舅舅拉班之间的尔虞我诈。在生活中就是又到了交信用卡和水电费的日子，但我没有足够的钱还账。然后便是妈妈赡养我汇钱给我，让我很内疚自己都这么大了还没有经济独立。而更内疚的是我还不情愿找工作。随之而来的是自己对自己挫败的反省，有一封不知道怎么回复的邮件和一个期盼又落空的心情。物色到好的房子但是没有那么多钱投资，想要做的业务又没有启动资金去运转。我想要地上的财富，我觉得地上的财富牵绊了我的脚步。 Continue reading →

愚人节那天 Mr. Huang 在小组讨论指导我们学习讨论Gideon的故事。他提到了在新约里相对应的关于信心的经文，很是让我有启发。启发我就先不谈了，经文如下。  希伯来书 11：13 这些人都是存着信心死了的，还没有得着所应许的，只不过是从远处看见，就表示欢迎，又承认他们在世上是异乡人，是客旅。 14 因为说这样话的人，是表明他们在寻求一个家乡。 15 如果他们怀念已经离开了的地方，还有可以回去的机会。 16 但是现在他们所向往的，是一个更美的、在天上的家乡。所以，　神不以他们称他为　神而觉得羞耻；因为他已经为他们预备了一座城。

因为2016 Spring学习的就是Judges，我不想像写以弗所书那样一笔带过，太过于草率。我很渴望和你们分享我在小组中学到的，关于神的点点滴滴。我很羡慕从小就在教会中长大的，耳语目染的学习出来的弟兄姊妹。每每和他们对话，我都能学习到新的知识。而我，再渴求再投入，也是一个有限的时间和精力。半桶的水最喜欢显摆 （害羞，别打）所以我准备从新开一页！我有大计划！成了你就知道了！
