Ahhhhhhh…….! I give up reading the old testament in the morning! It’s too much! I will concentrate only on the new testament and listen to the podcast for old testament. I highly recommend this teaching series by Jen.

There is bitterness in my heart. But God brings more joy to me. We could not control how the other people judges. 1 John 5: 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
Believe! 信心很重要。Do not love the world, but overcomes it!
1 John 5: 6 This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
Question: what does it mean that Jesus came by water and blood? Is he trying to describe a fetus? Why is water?
1 John 5:17 All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.
Question: 什么罪会导致死亡?
1 John 5: 21 Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.
